Comprehensive Data Recovery Training in Italy Has Been Completed Successfully!!

From 18th-21st of May, 2009, MICRO MANAGEMENT SRL, the authorized Italian and Spanish training institution and support center of SalvationDATA has successfully completed the second Italian data recovery training.

During this training, our partner Luca Marella has thoroughly illustrated the conceptions of a complete data recovery process and introduced all the functions of SalvationDATA data recovery tools in details. His profound knowledge and extensive experience in data recovery field gave all the participants a great impression. His opinions on the proper tools applied for data recovery work presents a valuable guidance. From this training, all the participants learned how to handle the data recovery work in an effective way and how to choose the proper tools to enhance their working ability and their competence. • On the 7th of May the second SalvationDATA Tool Presentation for Italian users was held in Rome, Italy. Participants from the data recovery industry took part in this event on “The challenges of 3+1 data recovery procedure and the solutions” and it has been proved to be useful by the participants.

  At the seminar, our partner Luca Marella from MICRO MANAGEMENT SRL introduced what a standard procedure should be when performing data recovery from hard drive: the 3+1 data recovery procedure, and the challenges arisen in each step of the complete procedure; the challenges were followed by our products of counter measures: we delivered and proved all the significant functions and unique features of the new Data Compass premium edition, HD Doctor Suite and HD HPE PRO on the spot with hands-on opportunities for the participants. Our serious tools gave a great impression to all the participants and some of them have placed immediate order during the event.

The beta test of Data Compass new version with HFS+/HFSX and EXT2(3) file systems support added has been started; extremely cool functions and comprehensive support make this product the best you need !

This upgrade will be available for our users free of charge as usual after completing the test procedure.

Data Compass new edition provides availability of tools for logical analysis of HFS+/HFSX and EXT2(3) file systems besides the original FAT and NTFS in the DCEXP utility.

After installing the upgrade version, DCEXP will get new avalability of logical analysis of FAT, NTFS, HFS+/HFSX and EXT2(3) file systems which allows data recovery from damaged drive (with bad sectors, surface/head stack problems, firmware problem etc); while such kind of cases can not be done by using common software.

1. New feature: Drive Cache Repair has been appended. Drive cache malfunction has been a typical problem for Maxtor HDD and Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 and 7200.11 HDD, which manifests itself as the following: Hard drive can be detected normally, but any attempt to access the data area return with error. In some cases, users may avoid this problem by trial and error, such as reverse imaging to extract data, but most of the time it doesn’t work. This new feature corrects the cache problem and it works for most of these kinds of errors.

2. New feature: RAID recovery utility is appended. More details.

3. New feature: Recovery from Image File has been appended. This feature allows users to open an drive image in the program and recover data directly from the image.

4. Head Map Creation Error (Code 01) configuration limitation has been removed. Details about this limitation here.
